Gopan Pillai, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Gopan Pillai is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in treating and prescribing medications for anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder and other common mental health issues. After earning his bachelor degree at the University of Texas, Gopan attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned his master’s degree in nursing. He is well-recognized and respected among his peers for his high quality of care, thoroughness and focus on holistic outcomes. He realizes medications are only part of the solution, and helps clients identity problems with work, family, social and physical aspects of life. With over 11 years of experience in the field, Gopan is humble, nonjudgmental, and caring in his approach to treatment.
His greatest asset is his ability to actively listen to his patients, and not prematurely jump to conclusions. At every step along the way, he includes his clients in the decision-making process, especially when it deals with a choice of medications.
Utilizing an integrated approach to patient treatment, Gopan Pillai closely collaborates with clinic owners, Dr. Heather Robbins and James Robbins, as well as Dr. Richard Yentis, licensed Medical Doctor and Psychiatrist, specializing in the treatment of a wide range of adult mental health issues.
