Bipolarism Checklist

Do you suffer from any of the following:
  • Periods where you sleep very little, or not at all
  • Bursts of energy every now and then, where you feel highly motivated and energetic
  • Taking on projects bigger than you can reasonably handle, or feeling like you are “all over the place”
  • Difficulty controlling anger
  • Feedback from others that you sometime talk too much or too loudly
  • Difficulty controlling spending
  • Tendency to “act out” sexually, often impulsively or with unhealthy partners
  • Periods of depression, hopelessness or sadness
  • Struggle to maintain an organized household
  • Failure to pay bills on time
  • A feeling that changing jobs, moving, or leaving a relationship will “fix” your life
  • Family members that suffer from bipolarism, depression or other psychological issues
  • Difficulty in focusing, concentrating or “seeing things through”
  • Struggle to maintain a long-term job
  • Struggle to maintain long-term relationships, especially romantic ones
  • Occasional feelings of being destined for great success, or having Big Ideas
