With 20 years of experience working with clients from all walks of life, I specialize in a number of treatment areas including depression, anxiety, panic, relationship issues, sexual issues, career and life coaching, mindfulness training, and stress and anger management. I am known for my genuine warmth and compassion, while also holding firm boundaries with my clients. I utilize a number of treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, and family dynamics. Therapy can facilitate profound results and I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Credentials

I am a licensed psychologist and co-owner of Dallas Whole Life Counseling, offering services in Texas with over 20 years of experience working with clients from all walks of life. I earned my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. After completing my undergraduate psychology degree at The University of Texas at Austin I lived abroad in France, Greece, and Japan before beginning my graduate studies. I completed internship rotations at Terrell State Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, the Eugene McDermott Center for Pain Management, and other local institutions. After earning my Ph.D., I completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Dallas Group Analytic Practice. I have been cited in local and national publications and radio programs, including Cosmopolitan magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Good Day Dallas Fox 4, and KCBS. My academic work has been published in trade journals such as Anesthesia & Analgesia and the Clinical Journal of Pain.

Rates

$200 per session

Insurance

If you have BCBS insurance or Medicare Part B, your in-network benefits will apply, and you are only responsible for your copay at the time of service. Otherwise, your out-of-network benefits will apply. I'm happy to file your out-of-network claims for you. This means no paperwork for you to keep track of. Out-of-network benefits vary from plan to plan.

Virtual Sessions

Due to high demand, I am not currently offering in-person sessions BUT I am available for video counseling or phone counseling. While my office is in Dallas and Plano, I am licensed in Texas and can provide virtual services throughout the state.
