Teen counseling often involves some degree of family counseling as well. For your initial appointment, we suggest the parents meet with therapist to provide an overview of the issue. The teen is welcome to attend this session, but is not required to do so. In this initial meeting, the therapist will discuss a treatment plan moving forward, which will center on the teen, but may incorporate meetings with the parents or entire family as needed. Our teen and family specialists emphasize genuine respect, patience and compassion when working with their clients, treating them as "whole persons" rather than just a list of symptoms on a chart.
Teen/Family Therapy Sessions: $150
We do offer both in-network and out-of-network counseling. If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Medicare Part B, your in-network benefits will apply, and you are only responsible for your copay at the time of service. Otherwise, your out-of-network benefits will apply.
