Ann is a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A) under the supervision of Kelly Couture, Ph.D, LPC-S, LMHC, MCCS. Ann earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Amberton University, and continues to expand her expertise through training in leading-edge research in the field.
Ann brings warmth and insight to the therapeutic process. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s needs in an emotionally safe environment as she directs the natural process toward healing. Her goal is to support each client in developing compassionate self- awareness as issues are confronted. She brings a calm, supportive, non-judgmental presence to the process.
Ann offers individual counseling using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy (PCT), and internal family systems (IFS). To further enrich her expertise, she is currently training in Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF) and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). And as a certified Spiritual Director, she can offer a spiritual component if desired.
Ann helps clients with a variety of issues, including: anxiety, self-esteem, co-dependency, marital issues, parenting concerns, abusive relationships, work-life balance, narcissism, divorce, abandonment, grief and loss.
Ann’s outside interests include photography, book and film clubs, going to the shooting range, visiting museums, and spending time in nature.
