Most people are waiting on something. Better job, financial freedom, better relationship, improved health, completion of a stressful project. Maybe the thing you’re waiting on will happen, maybe not. But even when you do finally complete that stressful project, for instance, what then? Then something else comes up. It’s like the whack-a-mole game: smack down one problem and another pops up somewhere else in your life.
You don’t need things to fall into place before you really start living your life. Your life happens NOW–not when you retire, not when your mortgage is paid off, not when your partner finally starts behaving the way you want. Working within your current life parameters and limits, what can you do to bring more joy, more peacefulness, more freedom to your life? What can you do today to make today just a little better? Start there.
