WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS WITH BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF TEXAS COVERAGE. Find a counselor and make an appointment today.
Dallas Whole Life Counseling has been providing trusted mental health counseling to Texans since 1999. We are an in-network mental health provider with BCBS of Texas. Our team of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas-approved counselors (BCBS-approved counselors) specialize in the compassionate treatment of a wide variety of mental health issues and situations. Clients choose our practice because they want an experienced therapist who will listen actively and compassionately, offering emotional support and heartfelt encouragement as each unique individual or couple confronts life challenges.
During the first meeting, a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas-approved therapist will help you explore your current concerns and treatment goals. A treatment plan will be discussed, and a meeting schedule for moving forward will be arranged.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Online Therapy and Virtual Sessions
BCBS online therapy is available for eligible Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas members, with online therapy covered by BCBS generally handled under the same benefit structure as in-person care. Our BCBSTX therapist network extends to virtual sessions too, so the same in-network counselors available at our Dallas office can also provide secure video therapy. Before you book, our team verifies your specific benefits, including whether your plan covers online therapy that takes BCBS, so you know what to expect from your coverage.
Blue Cross Blue Shield virtual therapy is designed to fit more easily into your schedule, with evening and weekend appointments available. You can meet with your counselor from home, work, or another private location in Texas with a reliable internet connection. Our video platform is simple to use, with no app downloads or complicated logins required. You also aren’t limited to separate online-only providers. The same licensed therapists who work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, and other conditions can provide virtual care.
Choosing between virtual and in-person care shouldn’t mean dealing with a separate insurance process. With online therapy covered by BCBS, your deductible and copay typically follow the terms of your individual plan, although costs and coverage can vary. If you’re unsure what your plan includes, our team can verify your BCBS of Texas benefits before you schedule. That way, you can understand your coverage and move forward with your preferred therapy format.

FAQs
Yes, most BCBS of Texas plans cover online therapy the same way they cover in-person visits, as long as you’re seeing an in-network provider. Your exact deductible and co-pay depend on your specific plan, so we verify your benefits before your first session.
