Visualize a traffic light. Close your eyes for a few seconds and really try to see it in your mind’s eye.
Did your traffic light indicate a color, or was it dark? Was the light red, yellow or green? Did the light keep changing colors, or was it one consistent color? If you need to, close your eyes and try the visualization again.
Now ask yourself this: Is there some stressful decision you’re trying to make, or some significant change going on in your life right now? Job change, new relationship, health issues? Whatever may be on your mind, consider it in the context of your visualized traffic light. Red, yellow, green. Does your imaginary traffic light know something about this issue that your conscious mind has yet to recognize?
